Honors for Newberry Tanks include:

More than 3,700 nominations from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted this year for consideration in a wide range of categories at the American Business Awards and more than 230 professionals worldwide participated in the judging process to select this year’s Stevie Award winners.
Company of the Year – Metals and Mining
This marks the third consecutive Gold for Newberry Tanks as Company of the Year. With significant investments in training, facilities expansion and modernization, technology, and enhanced-delivery programs, Newberry took pieces put in place in 2021 and began snapping those into a comprehensive vision of the company’s future growth. Shattering the original 10-year business plan, established with their Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS), Newberry will achieve that end goal in half the time.

Achievement in Management
The ABA judges noted Newberry’s transparency in the company vision and communication as factors in their success and tremendous momentum for the business. This vision netted significant investments in facilities and infrastructure, customer demand fulfillment, and corporate culture, culminating in increased revenue of 27% and 36% in 2021 and 2022, respectively, a 100% “Very Satisfied” customer rating, and very low turnover rates (11%).
Judges said:
“Newberry Tanks has achieved exceptional growth post-pandemic, despite supply chain disruptions and economic uncertainty, through implementing the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS).”
“Understanding the importance of a positive company culture, empowering employees and investing in cross-training and community involvement paid off.”
“The expansion led to a 20% reduction in hours per unit and more sales. Customer survey shows a 100% satisfaction level.”
Support Staffer of the Year – Nancy Sorrell
Nancy’s overall positive influence on the business is evident in Newberry’s 100% Customer satisfaction scores. ABA judges commented on her passion and dedication to her work, as noted by her coworkers who consider her the glue in their seamless operations.
